How we build our behavioral networks

To build our behavioral networks, we look at how many behavioral practitioners (licensed social workers, clinical psychologists, and psychiatrists) there are in a specific area compared to the number of members we have. This way we can determine how many practitioners we need to ensure adequate availability to meet your behavioral health care needs.

We created our behavioral network based on numerous market variables including:

Quality Assurance Procedures

Participating practitioners are re-credentialed using our standard credentialing process every three (3) years. Additionally, between formal credentialing cycles, we monitor the following as part of the ongoing quality review:
